Introduction by Nina :

I am a Swedish mother from Stockholm with eight (8!) dancing, singing and acting children. The children are very active in many ways in the cultural life of Stockholm including Swedish television. Several of the children go to Royal Swedish Ballet School. I want to help my kids to get connected to the great world out there. I am convinced that if I help my children on their way, they will do the same thing to other peoples.

They also plays a lot of instruments like Harp, Violin, Cello, Guitarr, Piano and Accordion.

Since the kids where small they have been participated in TV-series and programs, perfomances, movies, commercials, models etc. The performances have been in several large theatres in Stockholm (the Royal Opera, Stadsteatern, Göta Lejon, Dramaten/Elverket, Drottningholmsteatern).

Activity by itself is either creative or non-creative. It's the person who makes the action creative. It's not the activity that you do, that defines if it's a creative action. You can dance, sing, paint or play an instrument, but it's You that have to supply creativity to make the dance, the song, the painting or the music creative. This gives me satisfaction. The creativity is not on an occasional visit. It's a part of my life and lifestyle. It's the thing that defines my view of life and what I do with it. This is why I call myself a mamager (Swedish for mama gives). I give the children spontaneously from my heart to let them grow in a creative environment. I love doing this, even if nobody ever sees it. I have been doing these things long before we appeared here or on other places. It is not fame that we primary seek. If you never get famous you have had a rich life anyway because you have made creative actions by love. Small things get big when they are touched by love and joy. This is a part of my life-journey.

About BBx8

"Have ears for the music, a body for the dance and being a delight for the eye with an open-hearted mind"

BBx8 (B-B times eight) is an abbreviation for (the) Blad Ballet times Eight, but it has a lot of other meanings in Swedish. We are eight siblings and BB is a Swedish shortening of 'maternity ward' and since our mother has been there eight times, it was her idea to have this name. The word 'children' is called 'barn' in Swedish so 'the Blad Children times Eight' is another meaning of BBx8.

We don’t see on our selves as finished in our development, but under education and on the way. But we are able to give a lot already and can color the art and the life with our expression.

Our talents contain music and dance but we have also a poetic vein.

Of course we can perform solo both singing and dancing, but when we do it together it is like being hit by a sun-beam in the rising of the sun. We do it for you.

Ängla Temilia (who is singing on these songs) is in London for a while. She has some brand new songs that she has written. We will come back with these shortly.

Ängla is 21 years old. She has been studied music on musical schools since she was ten years old (Adolf Fredriks musikklasser and Lilla Akademiens musikgymnasium, Stockholm). She has also a classical schooled voice, but now song writing is knocking on her hearts door. She plays guitar and violin; since she was five. She is good at many things but singing is the thing for her.

Matteus is 19 years old. He is the holder of the Nicolai Gedda scholarship this year (2007). Matteus is studying Opera at 'Vadstena Musikaliska Akademi'. It is a pre-study for the University College of Opera in Stockholm (or other places). He has been studying clasical song the last three years at 'Lilla Akademiens' high scool in Stockholm. Before that he was in 'Adolf Fredriks Musikklasser' for six years. Matteus plays cello. He also likes acting. He is excellent on reading aloud and very good on imitating. Charlie Chaplin is one of his favorites.

Zac is 16 years old. He is like a rainbow with many strong colors. He has been dancing since he was five, but already as an eight year old boy he was acting on professional stages in Stockholm. He plays guitar, but his main focus is on the dance as he do every day in school.

Levi is 14 years old and is also dancing ballet every day at school and has been participated in a lot of professional performances in Stockholm. He plays violin.

Rufus is 13 years old and he also goes to a ballet school. He has been working at the royal Opera and other theatres since he was ten. He has a lot of energy and loves to perform (of course you can apply this to all eight). He plays the piano and accordion.

Tehilla is 11 years old and dances ballet everyday. She has a strong blaze for dancing. She has been acting in a TV-series where she had a quite big role as the child of the leading character. She plays cello.

Alpha is 8 years old and is going on a musical school where she plays harp. She is also a host of a children’s program on Swedish Television.

Junior is 4 years old and loves to dance and sing with his big sisters and brothers…..

The list or each child is much longer since they all have a lot of experiences from commercials, short films, photographer's models, concerts and more.. but this is just a piece to taste.

WATF Sweden ('Vi är framtiden') was produced by Nick Jarl.

Biog :

Nick Jarl's international writing career took a flying start when his song-writing skills received appreciation from one of the worlds most successful producers and songwriters, Max Martin. In year 2000, they co-wrote, 'You make me feel', that was featured on Westlife's 7-million selling hit album 'Coast to coast'.

In 2001 he started the Music Production company Jarl Entertainment, which is based in the central part of Stockholm.

The first production made was Westlife's 'Written in the stars' from their Greatest Hits Vol.1 album.

During 2006 he's been working with artists like Brian McFadden, Alexander Klaws, Edurne, Juan Camus and world-renowned songwriters like Tommy Lee James, Steve McEwan, Sharon Vaughn, Habib & Nierow & Jason Ingram.

Nick Jarl began his musical career as a synth/keyboard player in various bands in southern Sweden. In the late 80's he and a band member went to London with a newly recorded demo to try to break into the British music scene. After six months, with no record deal, he moved back to Stockholm to advance his music career in more familiar surroundings. He started working in a music store and during this time secured a record deal with a newly formed record company who had a young talented producer, Anders Bagge. He released a single under the band name 'Lalaland', unfortunately success did not follow! Musical influences changed to rock music and it was then that Nick formed 'Scam' with two friends. They soon secured a record deal with BMG/Record Station and released the successful Album 'Out of My Head'. Unfortunately, before they could finish work on their second album, Record Station's contract with BMG ran out and Nick decided then to take a two-year break.

During this time, writers and producers like Denniz Pop, Max Martin and Anders 'Bag' Bagge were enjoying success worldwide. This inspired Nick to start writing songs again. The two-year break had served him well and he knew then that his future was in writing and producing.

Since then he's been working on international basis and have co-written material with many world-renowned composers.
