Hello everyone! My name is Xiaoyan, means laughing swallow, I come from spring. To build bridge between China and the world is my pleasure. Thank MySpace for offering the opportunity.
The artists working at such music as The Good, The Beautiful, The True deserve our honor. Paul Weston, my good friend, songwriter and singer, Hanson, my favorite band give us such an example. Paul has dedicated himself to worldwide song project We Are The Future supporting world peace and solidarity since 2001 when he wrote WATF; I'm the leader of China WATF, thank Paul for inviting me to join the meaningful project which welcomes new versions of the WATF song from international artists.
Nowadays (Nov 2006) Hanson are releasing an internet exclusive track Great Divide for World AIDS Day. I always support and promote such good musicians as these. I also support Independent Artists who are unchangeably faithful to their own ideas. There are also a number of popular indie musicians in China. I think indie music is not an idea about genre but a way of production, it has various styles, it can belong to any musician. In fact, to make indie music a job is not so easy, that's the reason that there are so many talented underground bands everywhere, I think so.
